And yet also, my friend,
There’s but a single handle,
And that one is within
The outside is not fitted,
With any lock or key,
And though the Lord may stand and knock,
The rest is up to thee.
Each one of us has known,
Who would not let Him enter,
And preferred to be alone.
How many needless sorrows,
We all have had to bear,
Who would not open up our hearts,
And left Him standing there.
Years have a way of passing,
Like the blinding of our eye,
It seems we are no sooner born,
….before we have to die,
Treasured moments are as but
The flicker of a candle,
But heaven can be won with just
…the lifting of a handle.

Trust God
There’s never a teardrop
that God doesn’t see.
He knows when a sparrow
Falls from a tree.
There’s never a moment
When God doesn’t care
Never a time when He
Won’t hear your prayer.
